Gas Relief ?   Maybe not .

Barack Obama Opposes Immediate Gas Tax Relief For American Families. Obama: “I think John McCain’s proposal for a three month tax holiday is a bad idea.” (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks At Campaign Event, Blue Bell, PA, 4/21/08)

He wants to institute the windfall profit tax upon the oil companies similar to carter’s adminstration which have forced americans to suffer with the raising gas prices back in 1970s.

Serious California Budget Crisis 08-09

I am increasingly getting annoyed when the budget is not passed on time.  It have been going on since Governor Davis administration.  So I have decided to send the letter to the Governor and my local assemblymen as follows:

Michael Madden
XXXXXXXXXXXXXx
Whittier, CA 90605-XXXX

August 17, 2008

The Honorable Arnold Schwarzenegger
Governor of California
State Capitol Building
Sacramento, CA 95814

Re: Support Conference Committee Budget Report (AB1781) Dear Governor Schwarzenegger:

Time is running out for our students and schools. With the new school year approaching, our students and their education can’t afford to wait any longer. In order to open the door to learning, schools need the funding and resources to start the school year. Please put partisan politics aside and support the Conference Committee Budget, AB 1781, which closes tax loopholes and increases revenues to protect public education and other vital services.

______

Alot of us have been talking about voting current lawmakers out because they could not pass the budget which is nearly 2 months overdue and the Governor have given it to the lawmakers in January which they had 6 months to work on it which is very unacceptable. The state is suffering because of the ineffective lawmakers so the ineffective lawmakers must be removed from the office and replaced with actually working lawmakers. If you want to keep your job, get the budget passed and turn this state around into prosperity!!!

Truly yours,

Michael Madden

Which is also sent to:

The Honorable Ronald S. Calderon
California Senate
California State Senate
Sacramento, CA 95814

The Honorable Charles M. Calderon
California Assembly
PO Box 942849
Sacramento, CA 94249-0058

I hope they will realize that their jobs are on the hands of california voters.

If you want your voice being heard and you are the california resident and is the voter, then go to http://www.cta.org/issues/current/Budget_Crisis_2008-09.htm to send or call your local lawmaker!

A blog about Presidential Candidates

I have came across a blog that Denny posts about the events that occured between two candidates who are McCain and Obama.  He shares very good articles and is very informative!  Go check it out at http://777denny.wordpress.com

McCain is not Bush’s 3rd Term!

Everywhere and everytime I read the political section…especially political blogs, I see people accuse McCain as McBush, Bush’s 3rd term and etc.  Guess what ?  He’s not bush’s 3rd term!  If he is really is Bush’s 3rd term then he would be continuing whatever Bush have left off.

Obama will be continuing whatever Bush have left off in the terms of ecomonics which means that Obama will be issuing more tax rebates when he feels its necessary.  Well the first tax rebate that was passed by Bush is not working…so why do we need much smaller rebate that is visioned by Obama if that card is already been Played by Bush….ah Obama is the Bush’s 3rd term.  McCain’s plan to improve the ecomony is not the tax rebate plan (surprise surprise!  Not so bush as you think ?)  McCain’s plan is to increase the dollar by making it stronger while drop the oil prices which means getting the out of control inflation in control!  In addition to improving the ecomony, McCain will cut the corportation taxes down to 25% from 35% which will simulate the job creatation in the corporation while Obama wants to increase the tax to the wealthy americans….so think about this.  If we increase the tax against the wealths especially for those of them who runs their own business, they will start laying off lower class americans to preserve the cash flow.  Its always cause and effect.  Obama have no plans to get the inflation in control….hmm….McCain plans to maintain the current tax rates in captail gains and dividends while Obama wants to raise those.  McCain is winner again.

Of course, we all want to end Iraq War now…but if we end it prematurely…we are throwing in the white towel do we really want that ?  For me, I think not that will show US as wimpy country!  Obama wants to start the withdrawal from Iraq….violence have gone down at Iraq right…so why throw in the towel we got it in control so we can help the Iraqis to establish their government.  Once they are established, we can bring our combat forces home while maintaining American PRESENTANCE at Iraq for 100 years.  Obama twisted the word by 100 years of war.. McCain never said it:

His latest remarks come in response to repeated attempts by Sen. Barack Obama and other Democrats to argue that McCain supports maintaining troops for a 100 year war in Iraq. Instead, McCain has repeatedly said on the trail during the past few weeks that he is talking about a long-term post-war military presence similar to the ones the U.S. has with South Korea, Japan and Germany–where the U.S. has maintained troops for more than 50 years.

Obama twisted McCain’s statement of 100 years in Iraq….oh who other leader twisted words too ??? oh Bush!!!!

Obama twisted the words of Republican John McCain, saying he has suggested “war” might “go on for another 100 years.” McCain expressly said otherwise. He said a 100-year presence would be acceptable in the absence of violence against U.S. troops, and later said “the war will be over soon.”

Oh there’s something shocking, Obama claims that he doesn’t like to accept donations from the Oil companies, while he secretly accepted donations from people who works in the oil industry.  Gee who used to work in Oil Industry ?   Oh he’s the current President.

So Aroniza have been electing him for more than 20 years as their state senator, if he is worse than Obama who only served for Illnois for only 3 years.  Tell me how because I don’t see McCain worse than Obama.  And a wild thought…..Obama’s middle name…”Hussien” and his last name is so close to “Osama”  We are still recovering from the damages from the 9/11 attacks, I still can not trust a guy who have the Muslim like names and have the terrorist connections as the Tennessee Democrat (same party gasp!) suggests.

Vote McCain ‘08!

Research before you link someone to Bush.

Minimum Wage

Yeah it have been awhile since I posted here, but I am here to post new entry! Yay!  After reading this article it got me wondering about the people that earns few dollars above the minmum wage and the competition of landing into a perament employment with deafness is extremely difficult.  As several of my friends and I have been seeking for the perament employment with various of companies but nothing happens or they just simply chose a person that is hearing but lower qualified than we are.   Why ?  Because the Hearings does not know how to communicate with us in alternative method.

Anyways, that’s not the point I want to make…the Point is that I want to make that article mentions that the people who works for minimum wage are often under educated and under experienced….I will have to disagree with that!  Right now where I work which is at In N Out Burger with the starting wage of $10 per hour…yeah it is a few dollars above the california’s minimum wage.  All of co workers and those ones that I have worked with in past are not under educated…they are as smart as we are because they enjoy the work or they could not find the job like I am.  I stay there because they pay reasonable well since I get great benefits like paid vacation, 401k plan with company’s matches, full insurances AND TRAVEL insurance.  It is like I am earning $15 a hour instead of making $12 a hour at my current level.

In other whole different issue,  I have several job offers with IRS pending for the IT specialist position in Austin, TX which the process have begun in Febuary 2008 after meeting the recruiter after the accountant did my taxes.  He asked me about my work and education which I shared then he asked me why I didn’t get a job then I shared my frustration of finding the employment he was very surprised so he begun networking then he got me the recruiter for the IRS.  Also, the chances are looking good so I will be moving to Austin, TX probably in end of year or early 2009 if all went well.  *Fingers crossed*

Don’t buy the BS from the campigans if the records shows differently,  so Obama IS NOT THE ANSWER for the America unless you want to see another Great Depression because doubling the tax in stocks do have the possiblity to trigger the depression because it will make me to stop trading as well as another fellow investors expressed the same response.  McCain will take care of us as he have been serving for the AZ people for more than 20 years as their Senator while Obama only served 3 years for Illnois ?  That’s shows huge difference in experience.

Viable Vpad

Few weeks ago, the Viable company have released the brand new technology that enables Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to communicate wirelessly with their product called VPad. They said the retail price of that product is $699 only sells at $99 at the Deaf Expo. So I grabbed the opportunity and went to the expo. The flow of the moving the lines was very horrible there was about 75 to 100 Deaf people in the line and I had to wait in the line for 2 hours! When I finally got the product, I was excited to test the product out at home.

Viable Vpad

I must say I am quite disappointed with the product because:

  • It takes too long to boot up, it takes about 2 to 3 minutes to finally ready to use compared to Sorenson’s videophone that is ready to use less than 30 seconds
  • It does not come in with wireless adapter where you have to buy separately for $30
  • It does not come with battery where you have to buy separately too
  • You can not call any other competiting videophones that have IP address
  • The touchscreen is very horrible, I had to push a button several times to get it activated
  • I can’t even use the Vpad’s slideshow feature to show my photos as the digital photo frame

This piece of junk for $699 ? That is a true rip off, its should be like $29.95! I am considering to sell it on ebay because its very horrible product

Carpool Lanes into Toll Lane, Will It Help The Congestion ?

The Federal Government have offered $213 Million dollars to Los Angeles‘ Transportion Department which is called MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) ONLY if MTA wants to convert some carpool lanes into the toll lanes in 3 of most busiest freeways which are I-10, I-210, and I-110.  Will the congestion pricing help to reduce the congestion ? Sure it will discourage the motorists from using the toll lane which results the worsening congrestion in general purpose lanes as it already happened at Orange County and their CA-91 freeway that is equipped with 2 lanes (3 lanes in some streaches) toll lanes which already have resulted bumper-to-bumper traffic just like if its general purpose traffic congestion!  My question is that, why do you want to waste the money if it only save you probably 15 to 20 minutes from the commute if its $10 for a 10 mile toll at the peak times ?  I find it ridicious! What will really reduce the strain in the traffic congestion is to really invest into the mass transit, I mean, really heavily aggressively invest into it and grow the mass transit network to everywhere where the people needs to go including LAX (LAX does not have the reliable high speed mass transit at this moment of typing the post.)  Having high speed mass transit will help, take a look at New York City, Chicago, they are moving really well because they have highly reliable mass transit unlike Los Angeles.  So, the mass transit is deseperately needed, not just buses alone, I mean we need subways, el-trains, high speed rails, more light rails.

Another Reason Why Clinton IS NOT FOR PRESIDENT

She tends to have her husband to defend for her…what kind of leader that is so weak that needs somebody else to stand up for the potential leader so often ?  That shows big weakness, that means that President Clintion will be assuming the presidency once again in the background as this pattern implies as the President Clinton have been defending her wife so often.  Hmm.  Do not vote Democrats!

American Airline Cancels More Flights

Inspectors inspecting aircraft More than thousands of passengers are being stranded at the originating airport leaving them no where to go as more than 1000 flights have been cancelled for the inspections for wiring and cracks. What will happen to the future of the airline industry as the quality of service continues to decline ? No passengers want to be packed like sardines as the airlines have been adding more sets which gives you lesser leg room. For those of you who works in the airline industry, get your act together or you will never see the profit ever again. If you want the quality of service, go to the little pricey companies like JetBlue, or AirTran instead of those largest carriers.
